Beyond Bullying participates in research on the management and prevention of workplace bullying, and our practice is underscored by an evidence-based, scientific approach. We are always looking for organisations or individuals who are willing to be involved in this pursuit. The importance of good research cannot be underestimated, and for an organisation, being involved in research is a pathway to innovation and improvement, and a mark of commitment to improving the health, safety and well-being of employees.

Research might involve:

  • Questionnaires/surveys

  • Interviews

  • Analysis of records/reporting systems

and other methods as appropriate to the specific aim of the research project.

In particular, we are currently conducting research in the following areas:

  •  The effectiveness of current reporting systems and other control strategies, and how these could be improved;

  •  The measurement of bullying at work

  •  Legal aspects of workplace bullying, and how these relates to theoretical concepts of bullying

  •  Developing risk management tools for workplace bullying
